PAT testing:
FUNfORCE maintains and PAT tests it's own equipment.
For small local businesses we are now able to offer a
Portable Appliance Testing service to you.
PAT Testing is a method of inspecting and testing electrical appliances.
Government regulations give legal responsibility to employers, employees and
self employed persons to check and maintain electrical equipment.
This testing should be carried out at regular intervals.
All results should be logged within a report, including testing information,
appliance name and the date and time testing was carried out.
The Health and Safety at work Act 1974,
The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 and
the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
applies to all electrical equipment used in or associated with places of work.
All equipment that is powered by electricity needs testing
although a portable appliance is something that weighs no more than 18 kg.
The costing is done on a price per test,
and will depend on how many tests you require.
FUNfORCE can usually test approx. 15 appliances per hour depending on the surroundings and access to such appliances.
Our service includes replacement of damaged plugs,
fuses and other minor repairs
Rewiring of incorrectly or poorly wired appliances
Re-test after repairs
Pass / fail labelling
